FIRST Robotic Competition

The FIRST Robotic Competition is an annual event organized for the non-profit organization FIRST Quebec. Teams of students are invited to develop their teamwork abilities and build and program industrial-sized robots to play a challenging game on large fields. All this with the help of volunteer professional mentors.

I was commissioned to build robots to be used as signage for the event. Each robot has its own personality, they also take the colors of the different programs of the NPO. And in a second time I also designed the official mascot of the event. The idea was to make it a playful and cartoonish character.
